“ Absolutely lovely roast dinner with a veggie option too. We have an 8 year old who isn't keen on roasts so it was perfect as they also did basket meals on a Sunday. From the carpark you can also see Kemble Airport which is a winner definitely recommend!!!! ”
“ The food descriptions on the menu don't do it justice! So good and the chips are great. Lasagne is banging. And rhubarb Rosie on tap! Lovely staff too; win all round! ”
“ First visit, on a Sunday near Christmas. Various festive roasts available all presented to a really high standard. Food, service and level of friendliness all through the roof! Absolutely loved it here, and will definitely be back...... Probably tomorrow! ”
“ Beautiful pub in Kemble, right next to the railway station. Visited Kemble to go to Cotswold Airport and on the way back thought about getting food. Ended up visiting The Tavern Inn, which I'm glad I did. It was a Sunday, and they had a roast menu on. Being a veggie I thought it would be the usual nut roast, which isn't the most exciting thing. Instead they had cauli and broccoli cheese as opposed to a nut roast. It was amazing. Roast was fantastic, as was the venue itself. Good range of ciders, great food. Would definitely come back again. Plus there is a large outside area with a play area. ”
“ Looking for some late lunch we stumbled across the Tavern... Friendly locals and staff. Food was superb, freshly made and served with a smile. Would definitely recommend it for food and a pint. Super friendly and helpful bar lady made the visit even better. ”
“ Had a three meat roast with my wife and it was the best pub roast I’ve ever had. I have a hearty appetite and was full to the brim. Meats beautifully cooked, everything was perfect. We also had large pigs on blankets and the cauliflower cheese. A drink each and it was around 30 each. Great food and, for me, value for money ”
“ Excellent kids playground! Fort with slide, swings, even a little treehouse. Huge grassed area for kicking a ball. Plenty of outdoor seating, even lots undercover so you can just kick back while the kids have fun. Lovely food including gluten free options and attentive service. Immediately over the road from the Kemble railway station, excellent place to grab a quick drink before the train or something delicious to eat if you're staying longer. ”
“ If you seek the quintessential British pub, this must be as close as it gets. Pub dog "leggy" Peggy with Becky and her team are fantastic. Service, food (we had Sunday roast) and ales were amazing. Top that off with EV charging, free parking too, what's not to love. This is MUST visit and enjoy ”
